Home Teledreams – a connection over time and place Teledreams – a connection over time and place The exhibition features more than 100 objects of communication technology from the end of the 19th century to the present day, as well as treasures from image and film archives. The exhibition recounts the history of crossing time and space by the means of electronic communication technology. Telegraphs, telephones and radios as well as more modern technologies, such as televisions, smartphones and the Internet, all have to do with humankind’s dream of seeing, hearing or messaging across long distances. The exhibition sheds light on the kinds of technical networks and devices that have been built and on the adoption of new communication technologies and their use in our daily lives. 1.10.2017 - 31.12.2027 TechLand The starting point of the exhibition is the home, from where the themes expand to infrastructure, production, raw materials, processes as well as recycling and reuse of materials. The exhibition, which will be on display until 2027, will be renewed throughout its life cycle.
9.11.2019 - 31.12.2027 The Ghost and the Invention Device The Ghost and the Invention Device is an interactive and child-centered learning environment that includes versatile learning methods. The environment together with museum objects support children’s creative museum engagement and encourages them to observe, handle and understand technology as a part of their everyday life.
