The turn of November brings with it both fun Halloween antics and a heartwarming Father’s Day spent with our beloved dads! The Museum of Technology celebrates both! Other Events 7.11.2026 at 11:00 - 18:00 The Museum of Technology Viikintie 1 D, Helsinki First, on Saturday, October 31st, guests can enjoy an exciting Halloween program featuring classics like the ghost-writing workshop! Returning will also be our popular Ghostly Grove as well as the Dark Museum, during which the museum grounds can be navigated with the use of flashlights! The festivities then continue the following weekend on Saturday, November 7th, when in addition to the previous weekend’s program, we are hosting a Father’s Day pre-party featuring the Technology of Imagination -improv for children and families. In this session, we combine old technology with children’s imaginations to create a memorable, Halloween-themed Father’s Day experience for dads! The improv is open to anyone interested in technology and improv, regardless of age, so don’t be shy, join in! You are also welcome to simply come and watch!

Repair Thursday 24.9.2026 at 16:00 - 19:00 Repair Thursdays – A Community Repair Workshop Repair Thursdays is a weekly event series hosted by the Museum of Technology, primarily designed for seniors but open to everyone aged 12 and above. The purpose of the event is to activate and empower participants to repair various items, clothing, and household goods, while offering them the opportunity to learn new skills in a communal and inspiring environment.
