Alternative Party

Alternative Party is a legendary demo party, which is now making a comeback after 10 years on October 11-13, 2024 in Helsinki, at the Museum of Technology.

Demo parties are similar to LAN events, but they focus on creativity and digital art instead of games. The event has computer stations, a community area, workshops, museum tours, performances and compos (competitions). The event offers an opportunity to get to know the intersection of technology and creativity and participate in a community experience where art and technology come together. The theme of 2024 is topical artificial intelligence, which can be seen and heard both in the program and in the environment.
