Other Events 1.11.2025 at 11:00 - 18:00 Museum of Technology, Viikintie 1, Helsinki Join in a day of magic, science and technology, all brought to life by the power of dark technology. At the café you can enjoy witches’ sticks as well as small salty and sweet snacks. We recommend coming to the event by public transport or leaving your car a little further away as parking spaces are limited near the museum! IN THE PROGRAM (some changes are possible) 11.00 –18.00 The Ghostly Grove with its witch’s hut and pumpkin tunnels will be open all day. The exhibition will also feature jack-o’-lanterns made by children during the autumn holidays. 12.00 –15.00 Hologram projector workshop Come and try out how to make a hologram projector from plastic, cardboard and your own smartphone! The workshop is suitable for builders aged 10 and older and can be done together by the whole family. 13.00–15.00 University of Helsinki LUMAlab Gadolin 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00: Demos for dry ice soap bubbles and related carbon dioxide chemistry 14:30–15:30 The Dark Side of Technology – guided tour and quiz (in Finnish) How can inventions and inventors also be dangerous or mysterious? 15:00–17:00 Robot Uprising ry presents its ghost robots – do you dare to face a machine that haunts? 17:00 Flashlight tour: Little ghosts and machines The entire museum goes dark, and the adventure begins with flashlights to light the way!
